LOS ANGELES, California -- Let's make a positive impact on the community together! The Dribble for Victory Over Cancer fundraising event is held each year on university campuses nationwide, including Duke, UNC (University of North Carolina), and UCLA (University of California at Los Angeles). It is organized by the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF), in partnership with the V Foundation for Cancer Research, in an effort to "unite universities and communities to end childhood cancer." The team at Nabat Banu was extremely proud to participate.
What is Dribble for the Cure? -

The event was founded The main goal of Dribble for the Cure is to raise both money and awareness for the battle of childhood cancer, with the main focus being on researching different cures and treatments to beat childhood cancer.
During the dribble for the cure event, once the event starts you dribble a basketball with the other participants throughout a course on the UCLA campus. There are many people that dribble amongst you such as college basketball players, community members, and cancer survivors.
All the funds raised during this event and all other events are put forward to research at the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF) and the Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA. These organizations use the funds to conduct research, advance in cancer treatments, and help families fight against childhood cancer.
